Ryo Shimizu has abundant experience in software engineering and financial markets. Prior to joining Beacon in 2017, Ryo spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs Asia, where he built and headed the APAC Franchise Market Making Desk and led the APAC Equities One Delta Strategies group. Before Goldman Sachs, Ryo spent five years at The MathWorks, Inc. as a software engineer. In addition to his engineering role, Ryo serves as Representative Director of Beacon’s Japanese subsidiary, Beacon Platform K.K., working closely with clients throughout the region.
