Boris is currently heading the Structured Products Platform at Bank Vontobel AG in Zurich, Switzerland, taking care of all technology aspects around issuing, trading, and risk managing financial products.
He took over this role in 2020 and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial markets industry. Starting his career as a quantitative analyst in 2005, he worked with UBS Investment Bank in the Quantitative Analytics group, covering various asset classes and heading the FX Derivatives quant team between 2011 and 2015.
Paweł Dudko is a Senior Quantitative Engineer at StratsLab and has been consulting for Beacon since 2021. Over the years, he has worked closely with multiple Beacon clients, including in the role of Client Engineer. Primarily focused on commodities, he has experience across multiple asset classes and various aspects of the Beacon platform.
Previously, he worked in Fixed Income and Currencies derivatives trading at Commerzbank in London and Frankfurt. He holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Warsaw and an MSc in Risk Management and Financial Engineering from Imperial College London.
Jürgen is the Head of ETRM Solutions at Statkraft, a position held since July 2022. Based in Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Jürgen leads efforts to enhance energy trading and risk management solutions. Prior to this, Jürgen spent six years at the insurance sector, where he served as the Head of Life Classic IT/Department Head and Senior Project Manager, overseeing IT operations and project management in Düsseldorf and Hamburg.
Jürgen has a strong background in Investment Banking and Capital Markets and was globally responsible for Investment Banking IT operations for a German midsize Landesbank in Düsseldorf for more than a decade.

Simon is Head of Risk Change within the Technology Platform team at Bank Vontobel where he is responsible for introducing and championing all things Beacon. His current focus lies on enabling Vontobel’s treasury desk to leverage Beacon. With over 15 years of experience in risk management and trading systems Simon has held positions as senior quant developer for various asset classes, senior IT manager and technology and quant consultant. Simon holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from McGill University and an MSc in Financial Maths from Oxford University.
Kamil Lenartowicz is a seasoned technology leader with deep expertise in software engineering, architecture, and team management. As a Partner at StratsLab, he is currently consulting for Beacon, playing a key role in advancing the capabilities of its platform. Previously, as CTO at Gemius, he led a 40+ person IT department, driving technological innovation and organizational transformation. With over a decade of experience managing teams, Kamil excels at solving complex technical, managerial, and business challenges. His background spans fintech, adtech, and large-scale distributed systems.
Before joining Blackstone in 2022, Mr. Lichtenstein was a Quantitative Research Lead at Citadel, where he developed systematic volatility portfolio strategies for the Global Quantitative Strategies group. Prior to Citadel, Mr. Lichtenstein was a Researcher and Portfolio manager at Kepos Capital, where he was responsible for the firm’s commodity and macro volatility strategies.
Mr. Lichtenstein graduated with a BSE (Summa Cum Laude) in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and a MFin in Finance both from Princeton University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Ram Meenakshisundaram, MSCS, MBA, CQF, CAIA, MCSI is the Senior Vice President of Quantitative Services at KWA Analytics where he manages the development of analytical and quantitative solutions. He has over three decades of client experience working on financial projects in various industries and asset classes including energy, commodity, fixed income, FX, and equity.
Before joining KWA, Ram was the Principal Architect/Director at ION Group/OpenLink where he managed the Endur/Findur product development in Power and Capital Market sectors. Prior to joining OpenLink, Ram has worked at various investment firms and banks including BlackRock, SBC Warbug Dillion Reade, and Deutsche Bank on government securities, repurchase agreements, FX and equity derivatives.
Ram is on the advisory board of Hofstra University Zarb School of Business in Finance and is an Associate Professor in Finance at Hofstra University. He received a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science with honors from Pace University and NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Ram earned his MBA in Finance with distinction from Hofstra University and the Certified Quantitative Finance designation from Fitch Learning. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter-holder and a member of the CAIA Minnesota Chapter where he serves as a Chapter Executive. Ram is also a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Karol Ruszczyk is the CEO and Co-Founder of StratsLab, established in 2015. StratsLab specialises in advanced technology solutions and consulting services, with a particular focus on trading, risk management, and financial analytics. For over seven years, StratsLab has worked closely with Beacon Platform, actively contributing to the enhancement of Beacon’s core product suite.
Before founding StratsLab, Karol spent five years at Goldman Sachs in London as a Core Strat, where he developed cross-asset risk and analytics systems and managed large-scale software engineering projects.
In his current role at StratsLab, Karol’s primary focus is ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technological innovation, consistently integrating emerging technologies into financial services. He leads with a strong commitment to StratsLab’s core principles — stability, excellence, trust — ensuring these values drive all innovation and client engagement.
Karol holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Warsaw.
Ivan currently leads the product strategy for cross-asset Risk Analytics at Beacon. Prior to joining Beacon in 2022 he was Chief Product Officer at Riskfuel, an AI company accelerating capital markets risk calculations. He also spent 10 years at Scotiabank, where he led efforts to build Counterparty Credit Risk analytics and Data Science practice within the Capital Markets division. Ivan began his career as a theoretical condensed matter physicist working at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He has published high-impact research articles in Harvard Business Review, Nature Physics, and other top journals. He is a frequent speaker at industry events.
Kirat Singh has had a long career as one of Wall Street’s premier technologists. Prior to co-founding Beacon, Kirat spent four years launching and delivering the Quartz project at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, which is now used by more than 5,000 developers across the bank. Before that, he launched and delivered the Athena project at JPMorgan with Beacon co-founder Dr. Mark Higgins, and spent eight years at Goldman Sachs building the SecDB platform used across the firm.
Amy has over 15 years of experience as a commodity strategist/quant, eight of which have been spent leading the team at Javelin. Previously Amy worked as a cross-commodity desk strategist at Goldman Sachs in London. Javelin has been a Beacon client for nearly seven years, with Amy helping lead the business integration of the platform.
Mr. Stoll is Senior Risk Quant at EnBW. He started his career in EnBW AG Trading 2003 in Risk Controlling, Market Risk and now Enterprise Risk, after getting a PhD in maths at University of Karlsruhe (today called KIT). He has always had a strong focus on quantitative analysis and model development. Mr. Stoll has developed stochastic price simulation models, valuation and risk models for energy derivatives, assets and sales products. Currently his main topic is developing and establishing Beacon as the core system for risk metrics.
Asset Tarabayev brings 15 years of expertise in product management, quantitative analysis, and software development to Beacon Platform. As Chief Product Officer, Asset leads the product management team and provides the foundations and key insights to the company’s product strategy. Before joining Beacon, Asset served as Chief Product Officer at Quantitative Brokers and spent a decade at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in roles ranging from developing low-latency trading systems to leading the equity electronic trading product team.
