About the Great Place to Work Program
Great Place to Work® Institute Japan (GPTW Japan) quantifies the results of questionnaire surveys of certified and ranked participating companies, and announces companies that exceed a certain level as “certified companies that are rewarding to work for” once a month. In addition, the top 100 certified companies with particularly high levels of job satisfaction are announced once a year as the “best 100 companies to work for” ranking. There are two types of questionnaires, one for employees and one for companies, and a committee consisting of GPTW Japan and external experts reads them carefully, scores them, and determines the ranking. Questionnaire items and evaluation criteria are common globally. The ranking is an entry system, and 25 or more corporations can participate.
