Beacon Platform is pleased to announce that its General Counsel Aliya Haider has been selected as an Inspiring Fintech Female of 2021 by NYC FinTech Women. 

Noting her industry achievements and influence as well as her advocacy for women in the fintech space, Aliya was selected out of a pool of over 300 nominations from a variety of fintech sectors and is being recognized as an exemplary advocate for her dedication to diversity, equity and inclusion in our industry.

Prior to joining Beacon, Aliya has been a part of the fintech industry for more than 15 years, most recently as General Counsel of a leading B2B data company as well as  a prominent financial technology firm. Before that, Aliya worked in investment banking, including seven years at JPMorgan as Managing Counsel of its Global Corporate Bank.

Throughout her career, Aliya has sought to inspire women both within and outside of fintech to pursue their passions, stick to their beliefs and prioritize their authentic voice. . She has also been a strong and steadfast mentor, actively encouraging those around her to ask questions, put themselves out there and invest in their future.
